The radiation of sea fish caught in the harbor of Fukushima nuclear power plant exceeded the standard by 180 times

Japan’s Tokyo Electric Power Company released a report on Monday (5th) that the radiation in the body of the marine fish Pleurotus xu’s fish captured in the harbor of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in May this year exceeded the standard, and the content of the radioactive element cesium reached 18,000 Bq/kg, exceeding Japanese food standards. 180 times the standard stipulated in the Sanitation Law.

According to reports, the location where the sea fish was caught this time is on the sea side of Units 1 to 4 of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, where a breakwater is built and nuclear-contaminated water with a high concentration of radiation flows in.
